KZ Consulting Services was founded on more than two decades of hands-on commercial construction experience. Led by Krzysztof Zyla, the company combines technical estimating knowledge with practical construction and project management expertise to help contractors prepare accurate bids and make informed decisions.
We are an independent construction estimating and preconstruction consulting firm supporting general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and property owners.
Our approach goes beyond traditional quantity takeoffs. Successful projects require accurate pricing, clearly defined scopes of work, competitive bid strategies, and a thorough understanding of construction methods and project requirements.
“Estimating isn’t just measuring quantities, it’s understanding how a project is priced, negotiated, and built.”
Krzysztof has worked extensively in commercial construction, specializing in roofing systems, architectural metal panels, exterior façades, siding, and building envelope assemblies.
Since 2008, his responsibilities have included estimating, bid preparation, contract negotiations, scope reviews, procurement coordination, and project management support.
His experience includes estimating multimillion-dollar commercial projects, evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing, identifying scope gaps, and supporting projects from bidding through construction.
This combination of estimating knowledge and field experience means every assignment is approached with a clear understanding of both project costs and real-world execution.
KZ Consulting Services provides professional estimating and consulting support tailored to each client's needs.
Whether you need help with a single competitive bid, detailed quantity takeoffs, complete estimate preparation, or ongoing preconstruction support, we offer flexible services without the overhead of additional full-time estimating staff.
Our goal is simple: to help clients bid more accurately, manage risk, and make informed construction decisions.
Successful estimating requires more than numbers. It requires attention to detail, sound construction judgment, clear communication, and an understanding of the challenges contractors face.
Every assignment is approached with professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, and a commitment to practical, dependable results.
